影片大綱：
導演帶著對父親的思念，探尋父親的家鄉--鹿港的陳年往事，以及家族歷史，並為即將拆除的祖厝留下最後形影。從二叔、三叔、二姑的回憶中，拼湊出大厝過往的點點滴滴，以及父親年輕時在家鄉的身影；也透過他們的經歷，聽見了台灣從50年代至今的社會與環境變遷，地景地貌的改變、戒嚴時期的生活、八七水災的情景，也提到了自己為討生活而北遷的自然而然。他鄉、故鄉，都是家，日久便成情感依託的所在。
Brief synopsis:
The director explores her father's hometown "Lukang", after her father was dead for several years. She interviewed her uncles and ante for recording her family's history, and something about the surroundings in the old era. On the other hand, because their ancient house will be torn down, she recorded the memory about it.

擁有三百年歷史的鹿港，曾在清代繁華一時，「一府二鹿三艋舺」，人盡皆知。隨著清末海港的沒落、日治時代的鐵道變遷，以及國民政府重北輕南的經濟建設，鹿港的繁華被凍結在清末以及日治時期，反成為現代人尋幽訪古之地。最近台灣政府計畫將鹿港作為「國家歷史風景區」，投注龐大經費在當地，對鹿港的古味是福是禍？透過幾位鹿港當地人來瞭解他們的家鄉，以及老屋何以在現代社會中繼續爭得一席之地。
Brief synopsis:
Lukang, which has a history of three hundred years, was once known for its prosperous times in the Qing Dynasty. After the Japanese era, Lukang fell down later gradually, but the prosperity of old time was frozen. Recently, the Taiwan government plans Lukang as a "National Historical Scenic Area". The huge amount of money is bet on this old town. Is it a blessing to the ancient Lukang? The director interviewed some local people for knowing their hometown, and their thinking about this plan.

拍攝動機：
鹿港是我父親的故鄉，他出生於1942年。但他在台北結婚，我也在台北出生，直到現在。所以，我對鹿港很陌生。
我父親已經去世了好幾年，但我仍然非常想念他。所以，我決定拍一部關於他和他的家鄉的電影。
此外，我們在鹿港的祖屋將被拆除，我想保留一些關於它的圖像，並尋找它的故事。
製作這部電影的另一個原因是政府的一項重大計劃。鹿港將成為“國家歷史風景區”。然而，在這幾年裡，很多舊房子被買斷了。我想知道當地人如何思考它。
此外，我希望每個人都試圖找到並講述他的祖屋的故事。每棟舊建築都有悠久的歷史。它包括房子的來源和周圍的舊環境。也許當他們知道關於老房子的故事時，房子不僅僅是一個冷建築，而是一個充滿回憶的地方。
Filming motivation:
Lukang is my father' hometown, he was born in 1942. Later he married in Taipei, and I was born in Taipei also, living until now. So, I am very strange to Lukang.
My dad had died several years, but I still miss him very much. So, I decided to make a film about him and his hometown.
Besides, our ancestral house in Lukang will be removed, I want to keep some image about it, and look for its stories.
Another reason to make this film, a big plan from the government is going. Lukang will become into the "National Historical Scenic Area". However, a lot of old houses were bought and torn down in these couple years. I want to know the local People how to think about it.
Also, I hope everyone tries to find and tell the story of his ancestral house. Every old building carries a long history. It's included the house's source and the old environment around it. Maybe when they know the story about the old house, the house Will not just a cold construction, but a place with full of memories.

導演簡介：
文字與影像自由工作者、紀錄片導演，生長於雙北。畢業於淡大攝影社、世新學院平面傳播系攝影組，曾任平面媒體專兼任攝影、採訪、編輯等等。最喜歡做的事是旅行和宅在家裡，創作往往只是一時興起，或是受到委託。最討厭虛偽不實又勢利的人，對於威權有一種與生俱來的反感。目前有六部紀錄長片、八本著作、多次美術攝影展、多篇文章發表、多場演講邀請。Blog：影像行囊 / seeingimage
About the director and her works
A text and video freelancer, and a documentary director, grew up in Taipei. She used to be a print media, as well as photography, interviews, editors, etc. At present, there are six documentaries, eight books, many art photography exhibitions, multiple articles, and many speeches. Blog: seeingimage
