影片大綱： 

導演帶著對父親的思念，探尋父親的家鄉--鹿港的陳年往事，以及家族歷史，並為即將拆除的祖厝留下最後形影。同時採訪地方人士，了解鹿港的過往，也探討最近台灣政府計畫將鹿港作為「國家歷史風景區」而投注龐大經費，對擁有豐富歷史的鹿港來說，是福是禍？

Brief synopsis: 

With the thought of his father, the director explored the old past and family history of his father's hometown-Lukang, and left the last image of the ancestral home that is about to be demolished. At the same time, she interviewed local people to understand the past of Lukang and the recent Taiwan government's plan to make Lukang a "National Historic Scenic Area" and betting huge funds. Is it a blessing or a curse for Lukang, where has a rich history? 

 留下土地的故事，讓這裡永遠成為我們的家國。

本片《鹿港家鄉》記錄了一個鹿港北頭漁村【註】看似平凡家庭的故事，但卻是北頭戰後發展的縮影，讓北頭這個相對於大街上受到關注較少的地區故事可以被看見，也生動串聯起戰後鹿港與台北的社群與人際互動。至今北頭漁村一些廟宇都有戰後台北鄉親捐贈的匾額。 影片也帶出「他鄉故鄉家鄉」的思考。爸爸從鹿港到台北打拼生活，而故鄉的先人也是從唐山泉州來鹿港生活，泉州-鹿港-台北 三地的發展成為本片有趣的觀點。人為了生存而移動移居，思考了何處是故鄉家鄉。 

【註】鹿港北頭漁村位於鹿港天后宮西北之區域，其中心為東石、郭厝、後寮仔三個角頭，加上船仔頭、宮后、營盤地、土地公口都是廣義的北頭地區。本片所紀錄的「宮后」故事即為廣義的「北頭」之一。
